McCormick Center for Child Advocacy and Policy \nCollaborative Research: The Impact of Face-to-Face and Remote Interviewing on the Quality of Children\u2019s Eyewitness Evidence<\/em> \nNational Science Foundation \n$166,658 \nDr. Dickinson’s collaborative project with Central Michigan University–with a combined award of $311,753–is the first theoretically-grounded study on whether the use of remote technology provides a safe and practical alternative for collecting eyewitness evidence with children compared to traditional approaches to forensic interviewing. \n<\/div>

\nDomenica Dominguez <\/strong>\u2022 Global Education Center \nIIE Top Up Grants for Syrian Students<\/em> \nInstitute of International Education \n$15,000 \nThis award will support four Syrian students at ÌÇÐÄvlog, covering immediate expenses such as tuition, fees, books, housing, food, transportation, and dependent care. \n<\/div>

\nMarc\u00a0Favata<\/strong>\u00a0\u2022 Mathematical Sciences \nCAREER: Research and Education in Gravitational-Wave Science \nNational Science Foundation \n$57,453 \nDr. Favata is the recipient of a five-year, $400,000 Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) grant that will focus on the gravitational-wave memory effect and modeling signals from compact binaries with elliptical orbits. The research will directly involve undergraduate and master\u2019s degree students at ÌÇÐÄvlog. \n<\/div>

\nEmily\u00a0Hodge<\/strong> \u2022 Counseling and Educational Leadership \nSupporting Common Core Implementation in English\/Language Arts: Investigating the Resource Selection and Dissemination Strategies of State Coordinators<\/em> \nSpencer Foundation \n$49,999 \nThis project will investigate how English\/Language Arts (ELA) coordinators select curricular and professional resources, and the approaches they use to support state ELA teachers in standards implementation. The work will provide a greater understanding of how states can more effectively support the implementation of college and career ready standards. \n<\/div>

\nSarah Lowe<\/strong> \u2022 Psychology \nIdentifying Risk Factors for PTSD by Pooled Analysis of Current Prospective Studies<\/em> \nNational Institutes of Health \n$6,164 \nThis subaward from Harvard University will support the creation of a consortium of principal investigators to combine their individual- and item-level data towards carrying out a pooled secondary analysis to synthesize information about the predictors of posttraumatic stress disorder. \n<\/div>
