Although they may meet over a few weeks, Summer Sessions class meeting times are adjusted to meet the same number of hours comparable to a 14-week semester. Outside class assignments also are comparable to a regular semester. Please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/red-hawk-central\/registrar\/grades\/\">Registrar&#8217;s page<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<h3>Winter<\/h3>\n<p>All winter online and hybrid credit courses meet the same academic requirements as those offered during the fall and spring semesters. Outside class assignments also are comparable to a regular semester. A maximum of four semester credit hours of coursework may be taken during winter session. Please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/red-hawk-central\/registrar\/grades\/\">Registrar&#8217;s page<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<h2><strong><a name=\"netid\"><\/a>Identification &#8211; Net ID<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>All students enrolled in Winter or Summer Sessions courses should establish an\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/oit\/documentation\/additional-information-netid\/\">MSU NetID<\/a> (electronic identity that provides access to a number of online services at the University). This provides the primary means for you to receive important University communications during your enrollment here. You need to establish an MSU NetID to purchase a parking permit for use of appropriate surface parking lots. It is required for use of the Canvas online learning system and to access online library databases and periodicals from campus or home.<a name=\"grading\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"email\"><\/a>Email Accounts<\/h2>\n<p>All 糖心vlog students are provided with, and are expected to utilize, a 糖心vlog email account. The 糖心vlog email system is an official communications channel to the university community. Students may visit any public computing lab, or read\u00a0the Office of Information Technology&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/oit\/documentation\/googlemailgmail\/\">Gmail documentation<\/a>\u00a0for further information on using a 糖心vlog email account.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"enrollment\"><\/a>Enrollment Verification<\/h2>\n<p>The Office of the Registrar, upon receipt of the completed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/red-hawk-central\/how-to-guides\/request-enrollment-verification\/\">Certification of Enrollment Request form<\/a>\u00a0from the student, will provide enrollment verification for social security, jury duty, financial aid, health insurance, scholarships, educational loans, etc.<\/p>\n<p>The Certification of Enrollment will reflect either enrollment history or an individual semester. It will also indicate any 糖心vlog degrees earned, full- or part-time status, academic program and anticipated date of graduation. There is no charge for a Certification of Enrollment.<a name=\"graduate\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong><a name=\"id\"><\/a>Identification Cards<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Students registered at 糖心vlog are required to carry a valid <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/student-development-campus-life\/student-center\/id-card-office\/\">糖心vlog ID Card<\/a> while on campus. The 糖心vlog ID Card is necessary for such things as borrowing library materials, admittance into residence halls, dining facilities, computer labs, pool, gym, participating in student activities, and residence meal plans.
