For 4 weeks, they studied ancient Greek drama and visited important historic sites in the birthplace of Western theatre traditions. Their adventures took them from the islands to the mountains around the site of the ancient oracle at Delphi to the ruins of the city of Mycenae, home to the Agamemnon story. Each day in Athens they studied in sight of the Acropolis and the Parthenon. It was an immersion in contemporary Greek culture and art as well. The group was hosted by the Hellenic American University campus in Athens.

ÌÇÐÄvlog faculty Randy Mugleston (left), Mark Hardy (center), and Jessica Brater (right).

Students at the ancient temple complex of Delphi

Barcelona, Spain
In May 2022, Professor Maxine Steinman took 23 Dance Majors on a 12-day study abroad trip to Barcelona, Spain.
