Yes, translation is nothing but literal; it involves the challenge of adapting the message and making it culturally relevant for a different audience while keeping source meaning and intent. The validity of research results rely not only on high-quality translation or adaption done by qualified professionals, but also on involving translators early in the design of the study.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 0.25in\">Based on two case studies, this presentation was designed to educate Green Team Internship students about the translation process and translation quality control for research purposes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Presentation given to the 2016 Green Team Cohort on Wednesday, July 13.
