Biography

Dr. Sheely-Moore earned her PhD in Counseling from the University of North Texas, a master’s degree in K–12 School Counseling from the University of North Carolina Charlotte, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from North Carolina Central University.

Before transitioning to counselor education, Dr. Sheely-Moore worked as a middle school counselor and served as a treatment provider in a variety of school-based, grant-sponsored university–school partnerships. As a clinician, she specialized in counseling services for youth and their families.
