Biography

My primary research interests span across Applied Cryptography, Information Security, Data Mining, and Big Data. My current work centers around the development of privacy-enhanced techniques for various distributed data management and analysis tasks in the fields of Online Social Networks, Cloud Computing, Wireless Sensor Networks and Smart Grids. Additionally, I am investigating novel approaches to improve STEM education in local schools via computational thinking tools.

My team is working on the following cutting-edge research projects: (i) Privacy-Preserving and Collaborative Data Analytics in Cloud (ii) Optimized Secure Data Aggregation in Wireless Sensor Networks (iii) Privacy-Aware and User-Centric Data Management in Cloud (iv) Secure Retrieval of Top-K Similar Documents in Outsourced Databases
