Biography

Janine Talis joined the NJ PRAMS (Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System) team in 2026, bringing experience in project management and community-based participatory research.

Prior to joining CREEHS, Janine worked as a Research Manager at the University of Pittsburgh, Pediatrics. She has public health experience working with community stakeholders, family planning clinics, and college health clinics with a research focus on intimate partner violence, sexual health, and gender equity. She has previously worked as a coordinator on a large-scale college health intervention focused on improving alcohol-based sexual violence across Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

At CREEHS, Janine serves as a Survey Manager supporting daily project operations for PRAMS.

Janine holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. Additionally, she holds a Certificate of Public Health, and a Project Management Professionals Certification.
